After moving from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, many of us on Yama have run out of our bus money. We learned that we only receive 150 shekels per month in Jerusalem, a stark difference from the 250 shekels per month we were given in Tel Aviv. The 100 shekel difference is justified by having to use busses to attend internships in Tel Aviv, but with a combination of the weather and a lack of easily walkable places in Jerusalem, we almost always need to take at least two busses just to leave and return to Kiryat Moriah. Since neither Yama nor Kedma utilized their bus money throughout the time in Ketura, and with many people not returning to Israel until late December or early January, we feel as though additional money should be added to our passes. Please help us explore Jerusalem without the need to spend money onto leaving and return to campus.
