This young man was brought here as a child and we adopted him as a nation. It was the right thing to do then.He has repaid us honourably. It would now be wrong and cruel to throw him back to an unknown and most likely dangerous fate. Who would gain from this??

Why go to all the trouble of educating this young man, giving him a life and trade then send him back to nothing.

When a person has been such a model citizen in such difficult circumstances we should absolutely helping them to remain and, if necessary, raising funds and/or asking the Foriegn Office for help in proving his grandfather's death.

It would be cruel to return Walid to Afghanistan especially as he has integrated well here.

Why is he being taken from a safe and happy life and environment. He is a symbol of the success of integrating asylum seekers into British society. To deport him would be shameful.

The Home Office should allow Walid Durani to remain in the UK. It will demonstrate the government's commitment to counter radicalisation and show compassion a young man who has fled from terror and is actively contributing to the UK.

Walid has settled and integrated in to this country. He is working and contributing to UK PLC. He should be allowed to stay.
