Before Somaliland and Somalia, Somaliland British protectorate regions must be reconciled. If central clan is complaining from Somali southren, part of Somaliland regions are complaining from central clan of Somalilan with the same issue.

This constant lie of SNM telling other Somalis and the world that Somalis in the North are onboard with this family driven secession is lie. Somali civil war ended long time ago. The only war going in Somalia now is the SNM AKA "Somaliland" aggression against non-SNM northern clans and the with their support, the Shebab war in South-Central Somalia. Somali government should stop appeasing SNM at the expenses of other Northern Somalis. As for people from Khaatumo, Maakhir and Awdal, silence is approval. It is time to wake up.

Somalia is one country from south to north and we are supporting to split our country.

I srongly support this petition. I am from Awdal state. and we are better off with reconciliation and rebuilding somali people. No more dictatorship Siad Bare and his millatry wase dead.

We call on the Somali Federal Government and the sponsors of these talks, Djibouti, Ethiopia, the United States, the European Union, and IGAD, to rectify this error in judgment and allow the northern unionists to actively participate in the talks which we believe will lead to a positive outcome of the talks and will prevent of the illegal breaking up of the Somali Federal Republic. We warn that the exclusion of the northern unionists from the talks and the denial of their political rights will result in a renewed conflict and civil war in the North of Somalia and further divisions in the Somali nation.
