The dog was simply doing what he has been trained to do his whole life, protect his family against intruders. The lady is okay and shouldn’t have entered a property with an animal on it. It was her own fault.

Please don’t put this dog down he was only doing his job and protecting his family. As staffy owner myself they are the most loving kind natured dogs ever.

That dog was doing what was right, don’t try to come into peoples yard and houses that aren’t yours! That baby deserves to live !

Sarge is such a beautiful dog, I have walked him on many occasions on the beach in the bush never been a problem with other dogs or small children and adults. But he is very protective of his family, and extremely so in his own environment. This is a situation where he was literally only doing his job (protecting his family on his own property) My heart goes out to the girl who got bitten, I’m sure it was extremely traumatic for her and she is lucky it wasn’t a lot worse, but let’s pretend for a minute that the little girl had been a man or women attempting to break in, to the house or even the car would the council want him (Sarge) put down?

This is a beautiful and absulutely loving dog he dose not deserve to be put down. This is wrong. He deserves to be let back home as he was doing his job and protecting his property. No dog should be put down for protecting there family.

A dogs life is not lesser than a humans. You would press charges on a human for assault not kill them. Fine them if you must but don’t kill an animal just trying to protect its home.

I own the same breed. they are called nanny dogs because of their love & protection. hope you get your dog back

How can you punish a dog for protecting its family from a person who has no right to be on the property? The trespasser should be prosecuted !!
