Do not kill it. C'mon enough negativity and chaos is happening in this world, why worsen it by killing a loving animal that is loved and looked after. The chain effects could be devastating for the family, mentally and socially. Door knockers run that risk, it should fall back on the company asking her to do it or her self for risking entry on someones property. Science has confirmed for centuries the natures of all dogs and how they are protective while also loving creatures. If the dog ran out of the property and caused severe damage upon her, an infant or any person, yeah maybe there would be some just concern. But that did not happen. Have some decency. And remember we have relied on dogs like that for comfort, protection, hunting, evolution and service. To me from the little information displayed on this topic concerning this specific dog but with what has been displayed, this is a good dog.

This has to stop. Why is it so easy to kill an animal. If the dog was protecting it's owners and home that's fair enough. A police sergeant actually TOLD me to get a dog to protect our house, we have 3. DO NOT MURDER THIS DOG.

Don’t be cruel. Sarge should be allowed to live his life, and it’s unfair that he is getting put down for protecting his family.

Sarge is a part of their family, he is calm and friendly to everyone I have witnessed him with when out on walks or when the family had new friends over for BBQs.
I cant imagine Sarge being dangerous based on the numerous times i have interacted with him.

Let the dog go home!!! Nothing comes from this one mistake probably protecting their owner like they should, give murderers rapists ect another chance why do they not get sentenced to death?

The person was on its property, the dog could see the person as a threat. This happened to me and my dog luckily she didn’t get put to sleep we just have a sign now that says “beware dangerous dog” and another that says “beware menacing dog” before you enter our house but its so frustrating having these signs up labelling my dog because she is honestly such a gentle dog. I hope Sargent doesn’t need to be put to sleep over a small thing like that because if it was a human they would not be on death row.
