It's vital that we commit ourselves to protect, rather than exploit, the planet we live on. The signs of global warming are obvious, as well as the dangers which accompany it. Short term monetary gain is just that: short term. In the long term, we need to think about the generations of people, animals, and plant life which will come after us--and preserve a healthy planet for their well-being.
