The school really does show quite a bit of ignorance and total neglect of knowledge of the "multi-cultural" mix and the importance of prayer. Though space may be an issue, they have to put their students first because the students' are the main importance of ANY school. To go further, it is stated in the law that IF space is available, it is advised that it should be offered to allow students and/or staff to practice religious faith. To go further, you could oversee the discrimination that this school is inferring and giving off as it severely contradicts its own obligations. We should have the right to fulfil our religious needs and the school has no right to stop that. Lastly, students have to travel, sometimes far, to pray. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient and delays learning. Students should not be under pressure by staff as they have to travel to pray which gives students less time to actually have lunch and be on time for lessons. This is a bad factor in learning and LAE needs to re-think what they stand by as it isn't working well for the 90%+ of students who follow Islam and it's simple needs.

If this school is part of a tolerant society that stands for equal rights - as well as the freedom of belief that everyone is entitled to - please show it by allowing the prayer space to remain.

Every student should have a moment of peace where they can let go of all his/her worldy distractions and pray to his/her lord, a prayer room will not only benifit the students but also the staff and teachers.

In my school they let us pray in the main hall every Friday because in that day a lot of students come to pray, but normally we pray in a small room in maths section and is very though to pray because there are a lot of people disturbing us and you feel very strange because many times they stare at us and this makes praying very difficult because we lose our concentration, so please make them a space where they can pray peacefully so we can fulfill our prayer
