There is no compromise when it comes to prayer.
Prayers don't take long and in fact boosts a child's learning.
It will only benefit the school in the long run.
Give them a small space. They're not asking for much. Only their rights.

Britain is a country of Christian faith and also other faiths.
I'm finding it very difficult to comprehend that a college like this doesn't provide a faith room. It is against British values and inhuman.

Pathetic that they haven't gotten a prayer room yet. Fear or that they believe secularisation promotes better grades? I don't know, but I fail to see why they haven't been given a place for prayer.

I think it is disgraceful that in today's Multiciultural society in Modern Britain that a prayer facility that students take pride in using and which can only make the academy a more inspiring place has been closed down.

It's the right of the school to allow religious freedom and is a basic human right to allow students to practice their religion, especially when LAE is located in such a diverse community, it seems ridiculous that it has been banned. I hope this is resolved soon, have patience guys!

This isn't justice. Why are Muslims forced to attend chapel in certain schools but not allowed to have a secluded place for themselves when they want to worship. We are not forcing anyone to worship with us so please.... This is freedom of religion

Its ridiculous that we have to fight for the simple right to pray. There should definetly be a multi-faith room , for all faiths and it should not have to be "booked" it should be an open space welcome to all religions. Although I am free from LAE I am still outraged that this is an issue even after we relentlessly fought for the right to pray. Before LAE enrols students they should make it apparent that the students will not be able to pray , I wonder how many students they will enrol then ?

I too struggled sixth form without a prayer room and felt as though part of my identity had to be left at the door of the school. I understand how restrictive a lack of prayer facilities really is.

A prayer room is essential as it is needed by many people who wish to pray , their praying can be delayed if this is not existing. Please organise a prayer room .

Many schools and colleges are abdicating their responsibility to look after their students' needs, and are making knee jerk reactions to the Prevent agenda. You should be ashamed of yourself LAE.

A university should be diverse and respect all religions?
As quoted "they shall not be disregarded as we are one body and one respect each other"
