Everyone has a right to fullfill their religious obligations whatever the religion.
If a Muslim prays his/her 5 daily prayer doesn't mean they are extreme or radical. It means they just want to pray to their God. I don't understand what is wrong with that.

Please let them have the prayer room, as they mean no harm and they do not need to go out of the building.

So sad...going backwards. This is Britain and we are all British. We all have a right to practice our faith so long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights.

It's a disgrace for an institution not to have prayer facilities and my recommendation to the students would be to pray on the grounds until a room is provided.

This is the right of the students and part of equal rights policy. Students must be given their prayer facilities back. Otherwise legal actions should be considered.

Please do not take Prayer Room away from school pupils. It is very important for Muslims to perform their daily prayers.
Thank you

It's not just a prayer being performed, it's a way of life for a believer of God, to thank him 5 times a day for his Bounties... We as humans spend a lot of our lives thanking other humans and dedicate time, effort & money.. A prayer to Allah (God) 5 times a day is a Muslims prescription to success in this world and for the hereafter.
I hope you understand the 'reason' why a Muslim HAS to pray.
Thank you.

I feel everyone should have the freedom to practice their religion, whether they are Muslims or Christians and if their faith commands them to pray then that should be respected.

It seems shocking that a school that is supposedly proud of British values fails to provide it's students with the basic right to express and follow their religious beliefs, ESPECIALLY when the expression of their religious beliefs through prayer and worship, have little or no negative effect on the lives of those around them

The school will not achieve any good by preventing people performing their religious duties. Will the school stop a Sikh person performing their religious duties?
