The City of Northville - Historic District Committee (HDC) would like us to return the exterior brick wall facing Dunlap St to its original yellow-hue brick.
In an attempt to maintain the branding of Pizza Cutter in Northville since 1978, we are asking your support as we approach the HDC to allow us to keep the building painted white.Updates

We have been Pizza Cutter customers for over 30 year. The building looks fresh and appropriate. The colors are those of the Italian flag. I think the colors should remain the same.
How in the world do they feel bringing a tiny wall back to its original mustard yellow color will help keep the historical feel of the city when it faces away from giant, modern looking condos and face toward a brand new, giant modern looking restaurant/apartment building?
This boggles my mind. Pizza Cutter is supposed to be white with green trim. It’s part of Northville History. Preserving Northville’s history isn’t just about buildings from the 1800s. It’s about preserving traditions that bind ALL generations to the town. And for my generation, Pizza Cutter is an important piece of the town.
I can see if an outlandish eye sore of a color was chosen, but these are very simple, tasteful colors. Why unnecessarily punish one of our most steadfast businesses owners with this trivial issue. Allow him concentrate on continuing to serve our community the quality of food we’ve all come to rely upon!
Pizza Cutter has been an iconic local restaurant in Downtown Northville for decades. They have finally found a new location where they are able to grow and work efficiently in a building that is not extremely worn down. Please let them keep their new white wall!
Pizza Cutter looks great! How can the Historical District even bring up such a rediculous, petty complaint when they approved the ugliest Center Street condo building in the entire City!
The Pizza Cutter is a Northville treasure! Let them keep the classic white and green appearance.

The building looks so much better painted white. Other buildings like the Marquis theatre are painted. Also I can’t believe they are picking on pizza cutter when the unpainted new construction is so unhistoric.
