2x United States Disc Golf Champion Will Schusterick will be lead designer for this course.
On July 11, 2014 there is a Parks and Recreation board meeting where this course will be put up for final approval.
We need your help in showing the city that this course is a good thing and will be utilized!

The momentum behind this project is finally forcing the city to take us seriously. We have built enough pressure that the Parks and Recreation board cannot ignore our demand for a real course in White House.

This disc golf course will have more foot traffic than any basketball court, baseball field, or picnic area. Disc Golf is very family friendly, all skill/fitness levels can enjoy it, and disc golfers are very passionate about mataining their home course and making it the most enjoyable for everyone during all seasons. You can't go wrong with this
i work in White House and live in Portland TN. Good community and good area to spread the joy of disc golf.
I am driving to Morristown, TN from my home in FL to play in a disc golf tournament this coming weekend. If you build a good course, people will come from all over to play it. We will spend money. We will help your economy. We will help your employment numbers. Every little bit helps.
Disc golf courses provide a wonderful expression outlet for youth and the community. Even on the hobby level, disc golf is great exercise and fun for the whole family. Local businesses will enjoy the fruits of support as players from local and surrounding municipalities seek the fun!
This would be a great addition to the local community. I live in Feanklin, KY and this would be a course I would bring my friends and myself to often. We had a group of 10 players today for a round at the Franklin Simpson park. We have visitors from northern TN and even Nashville traveling to Franklin to play on a regular basis. This would be a great meeting place for the groups.

I travel for work often and always look for disc golf courses wherever I go. I'm not the only one, and having a well designed, quality course will draw people to the city, even though the biggest benefit will be for the local community members.
