I fully support this initiative. Lamplighter provides the area with a rich meeting space that is slightly hindered by its lack of space. This proposal, if carried out, would nearly double their maximum capacity.

While any expansion of Lamplighter would be wonderful, the recent expansions of other breweries like Framingham's Jack's Abbey and Everett's Night Shift show how important a seating expansion can be for a venue like this. It makes a huge difference for locals and visitors alike.

Dear City of Cambridge, please grant Lamplighter the additional capacity and seating they have requested. I love coming to this brewery to spend time with friends and write but there are often lines outside. It's a wonderful space but could use some extra gathering space and additional seating.
