It is pathetic the way artists and businesses are treated when they are trying to support local talent..

What a ridiculous amount of red tape ! These are small acoustic players, not the Rolling Stones, in an entertainment precinct, not a retirement village. Give the artists, the businesses and the audiences a break, Qld government !

This law must be changed if qld is going to be able to offer the best live music venues for locals and tourist. Stop penalising people for providing entertainment venues.

Live music is the heartbeat of the community. It attracts tourists and locals alike, making small business' strong. Give Pokies a hard time (they suck money out of people's pockets & do untold damage to addicts and there families) - let live music thrive.

although I understand the legalities behind APRA and whatnot; it seems somewhat ridiculous for the excess laws surrounding live music.
I'm down with this 100%!!!!
