Help to stop the 10th Ave Bikeway plan for the Health Precinct area

The parking is nice for the patients to have access to AS IS! Please don't take away the parking from Cambie to Oak St. in the hospital area. I am not going to ride my bike to appointments, especially as I get older. I am 57 now.

This is a terrible idea.

It's difficult as it is. If anything we should ban the cyclists on 10th as it increases the traffic in a very busy and "tight" street. Take away the little number of parking left? Where the entrances to emergency, eye clinic, skin clinic, cancer clinic, and spine clinic? You guys should try coming in for some appointments and see how you feel.

I foresee cyclists bombing through sick and elderly patients as they attempt to cross from the dropoff points to the entranceway to the clinics they're attending. And gridlock on 12th and Broadway as cars can't travel eastbound anymore from Laurel to Cambie. It's an ill-conceived plan that will have disastrous results for patients. There cannot be a formal bike route through a hospital precinct! This is nuts. Already bikes weave in and out with careless disregard for even their own safety much less patient safety. Stop this plan. Simply have them walk their bikes between Heather and Laurel.

Sick people don't ride bikes.

This reasoning is reticular and impact so many patients who have problem getting proper access to their health care providers all for the left wing satisfaction of a out of control city crew

The fact that this was the solution that came out of months of consultation is very concerning.

Make 10th Ave great again!

There is no reason why we should be making it MORE difficult for people, vehicles, and ambulances to access the HOSPITAL. People who are injured, sick, or in need of important medical care take precedent over the WANTS (not needs) of cyclists, many of whom only use their bikes for a few months each year!!!!!

This plans privileges young fit cyclists over hospital patients. I know who my sympathies are with.

This is a no brainer, there's way too much activity in this 3 block radius - The Cancer Agency, the Eye Care Centre, the Blussom Centre, the Skin Care Centre, the Arthitis Centre, & VGH Emergency dept. Our centre alone has many slow elderly people crossing the street and they should not have to risk their lives and well being due to fast cyclists crossing their path on 10th avenue! Please reconsider the cycle pathway and move it above 12th Ave.

Do you think he care? He doesn't have any knowledge to improve the city. That's why he keep creating problems !

Robertson, If the traffic accidents as a result of bike lanes is not a clear sign that you need to stop, when are you going to stop? Until you are voted out of office?

Have the bikeway corridor along another route not adjacent to Hospitals.

Ridiculous concept to consider these corridor alterations directly adjacent to the major cancer centre, eye centre and major hospital for the province
