I will not allow to let the street to be bike lanes for it is the only area that our clients in Vgh Eye care Center that they can park close to the clinic.

This is just one more example of how this current City Mayor is completely blind and deaf to the needs and safety of citizens and only thinks of cyclists. His decisions are criminal.

What a joke! Hullo the Cancer Agency and Eye Care Centre are there not too mention other numerous doctor offices. The city belongs to all not just the bicycle riders.

Parking is already bad enough along this area. Do not put bike lanes ahead of the needs of sick, disabled, and elderly!

This is the most poorly thought-out suggestion I have ever encountered. There are way too many people with disabilities struggling to access treatments on this street to consider a bike path. Put it someplace else!!!!

City staff under Gregor Robertson should be paying as much attention to seniors and handicapped persons as they are to bike lanes. When will they realize that we can't use them? When will they try to make transport easier for us?

1) People's lives are at risk when you mess with hospital access. So don't do it.
2) Not everyone can bike to work at a reasonable time. But small electric motocycles are a variable option. If you really want to reduce automobile traffic, allow small electric motocycles to share these bike lanes.

Please move the bike lane to the alleyways between Broadway and 10th Ave. The medical corridor needs to have improved access for patients, better drop off locations, easier parking (including reduced rates), easier access for ambulances. Repair the sidewalks, but keep the trees where possible as it provides a shaded landscape in summer. Please move the bike lane.

The hospitals were here long before the 10th Ave bike route was promoted by the City. Bikes are great ways to get around for healthy, mobile people, but these folks are not the demographic that NEED to access this street by car, taxi, hospital shuttle, handidart etc. Please do not reduce the already limited street parking nor make the road one direction.

The proposed bike lane along W10th thru the medical neighbourhood will limit access for people with disabilities and reduce the limited parking available for people who cannot bike to their appointments. VGH is a trauma hospital which service people from around this province not just Vancouverites. I find it challenging now to get to my appointments at the Mary Pack Arthritis Centre & the Diamond bldg. Parking is expensive and already limited in the W10th corridor, please do not reduce parking and make this area harder to navigate. Travelling into Vancouver for medical appointments is already a challenge and stressful, please do not add more stress by making W10th a bike route eliminating parking.

pkease do not put a bike lane on 10th avenue. I need access to vgh and the arthritis society. I depend on getting there by car because i can't walk far, bike or rely on getting a seat on the bus.

The needs here we are not seeing is you are taking away from the most vulnerable people. This year, bus passes for the people on disability were already gone from 45 a year to upping it up to 52 a month bringing it up to 669 a year that's more than 500 percent increase. How much more are you going to take from the vulnerable? It seems selfish that you are asking the vulnerable of bc to walk blocks to get parking. It's not just that but by taking away all the parking spots would be a shame for all those not only using these centres (eye, heart, skin, spinal injury, arthritis) and the emergency, the whole vgh. There are already lacking parking as it is. People who ride bikes are able bodied enough to find another route, we cannot, they have a choice which is a luxury, we do not choose with the cards we are dealt with, whether it be cancer, spinal cord injury, arthritis etc. The real epidemic is health issues so why isn't money put into making more accessibility and pathways available instead of these bike lanes. I am not against putting a bike lane if means keeping the parking. I feel as city of vancouver really needs to take a walk on this street and actually see how many people use these parkings to get to their appointments or see their loved ones in the hospital or therapy which is something we don't choose in life to have these health issues arise. It feels like a sentence to have health problems already as it is, it's different when you are putting more bike lanes in the city for shopping and businesses but these are Healthcare buildings we are talking about, it seems appalling who you are going to affect and take from. It doesn't effect you until it actually happens to you or a loved one. It shouldn't take that for city of vancouver to understand.
