Dedicated experimental archaeology such as that undertaken by the folks at the Crannog holds a vital role in the continuation of our culture. The opportunity to expand the work + community associated with is very exciting.

I take great pride in the history of Scotland. Centres attract tourists and we have a wonderful country to welcome them and explore our history.

The Centre is such a wonderful place to visit and learn from. It's not just the crannog itself that makes the centre so good, wonderful though it is. It's the old skills that are taught there as well. This special place deserves to be bigger.

We visited this entre a few years ago. It is quite mind-blowing and deserves to become much better known and therefore suitable to accommodate many more visitors, Crannogs are very special to Scotland in particular. We need to showcase them properly.
