My great Aunty a nana used to come on holidays to see us on the great southern rail but unfortunately they have raised the price since the new government came in. My great Aunty can only travel via train as she has a herrific fear of flying. Perth only has two ways to travel and that is plane or train, so this leaves us with not being able to fly or paying their whole pension pay for months to go on the train. It will now cost $2800 each for them return and thats the cheapest price for a pensioner when it used to cost $1044 How can someone on the pension afford that! On top of that they only get the $2800 price IF a carriage is available other wise it will cost more!!! It is cheaper to fly around the world starting at $1400
Let's all pull together to help show the government this is not ok and support the pensioners.

Government should be ashamed charging pensions this amount. Before long it will be shut down because it's to expensive to go on !
