Help The Homeless: STOP The "Move on"

As long as the homeless are not being begging they should be left alone by the police /council. They need help what help is moving them on to another place going to do?

I think it is shocking that there is not any support for the homeless. I have been homeless and I feel the pain of people on the streets good bless them all

stop everyone coming into the uk and giving them homes as you cant even give the homeless people a warm safe place to live

Priorities are very skewed in the UK. Why is the government spending ludicrous amounts of money on city rejuvenation if we have loads of homeless people begging and living in those same streets? What's likely to put people off more? I'd say the people with nowhere to go. And quite a few of those homeless people are not out on the street by choice. They've lost jobs, lost homes, lost everything. And nobody helped them, they slipped through the cracks of social services. They can't claim any sort of benefits to help themselves out because you need an address for that, but you need money to have a place to live in order to pay the rent. I'd rather my taxes went towards helping people rather than flowers being planted in the spring.

leicester council needs to stop wasting money on sir Peter soulsbys rediculous money wasting ideas (ie jubilee garden.. Cycle lanes etc..) and start spending its money on on the ground projects that actually help the people of leicester!!
