This petition is to recognise the barbaric nature of city wardens reporting the homeless to the police as a nuisance when the reason of homelessness is due to the Leicester City Council's failure to honour the duty of care set in place to safeguard residents of the United Kingdom, including but not limited to, the homeless.
Every day, if you go out to the city centre and just wait, you will see at least one homeless man sitting down, minding his own business, not causing obstruction or harassing the public or begging, get moved on due to reports from City Wardens.
How dare a member of council staff have a homeless man moved on because they failed to provide adequate accommodation! It is barbaric to say to very least.
