This is the "feed lot" holding camp for 400 donkeys and 150 horses that are going on public auction in the Northern Cape on Wednesday next week

All the animals have been bought by the auctioneers from impoverished rural farmers in the North West Province and all will be going for mass slaughter unless we take action

We plan to attend the auction on Wednesday to bid on, buy and save those that we can

This is a horrific and real example of what's going on in our CRY the Beloved Contry in terms of the Chinese demand for and trade in donkey hides for "medicinal" purposes
