I have been to this cafe for a number of times. It is definitely not acceptable that we hk citizens are not permitted to use our public space however we want.

I really can't see how reclaiming a dingy alleyway and trying to turn it into a usable public space is a crime. The atmosphere at teakha is always lovely and Nana and her team have worked hard to create exactly the kind of communal, artistic, creative, caring culture that the government should be crying out for instead of trying to stamp out. In other cities, you get grants for this kind of urban regeneration!!If I had to choose between a desolate back alley filled with parked cars and a vibrant, friendly teahouse that is a hub for conversation and new ideas then I know which one I'd choose. HK, where are your priorities?

Hong Kong's public space is valuable. It is sad that when I walk on streets, I couldn't find any place to sit down and take a rest without the need to spend money.
