To prevent Teakha and members of the public from beautifying and making a better use of an otherwise ugly and unused alley; while rubbish, automobiles, carts and other ephemera are found mere steps away; is a disgrace to all Hong Kongers who hope to see this city become a better place. If we as a city are keen to promote environmental awareness and the building up of neighborhood communities, we must take a stand against this pointless use of government regulations. It's harming our neighborhood community, and setting a bad example for the city as a whole.

Teakha has brought nothing but benefit to this neighborhood--I've been a resident for more than 2 years now. No one who lives nearby has complained about Teakha's activities and other local dining establishments make liberal use of public space without scrutiny from FEHD; this is the definition of a double standard, and Teakha is the victim of it. This persecution should stop immediately--please let Teakha continue to bring communal joy to neighborhood residents and visitors alike.

Maybe we should try to get that crazy dog-walking lady engaged in the community. Because the Food, Environmental and Health Department will not come if there's no one complaining about it (that's what they think as 'being responsible' to the citizens of HK).
