Help Support Barkby Plungers

I hope to have our dogs go there. It isn't fair to have it closed down.

Barkbys brings life and variety to the area. They promote community and provide a healthy, outdoor, family centric activity for locals and their pets. Losing barkbys would negatively impact the community

My dogs love going to Dori’s swims. This business has been well established for years. Events are held during daylight hours. I’m sorry but renters do not pay taxes and should not be able to affect someone’s life or business. Fully support Barkby Plungers and all of there operations.

This business, which has existed for many years, is very unique. I have taken my dog there several times and never experienced excessive barking that would warrant the closing of the business. I would be concerned for all the farmers in the area with cows that moo... They may be the next target. Do not close this business.

Dori Barkby is a distinguished member of our community! She is a friend and a reputable and distinguished business woman!!!

Business or not dogs can bark and this "noise" of dogs barking is at reasonable hours, events are not every day and she takes utmost caution with all dogs.

Please allow Dori to operate her business.

This facility has been established at this location and operates under normal hours that do not affect disturbing the peace or curfew hours.

Just reminding those renters that they don’t pay for housing nor school taxes, so they can’t force any owners hands when they don’t OWN the property.

He business is the best thing to ever happen for our dogs. We love them, she loves them and this complaint has to come from someone who doesn't. Renters can move any time but she should not lose her business ever.

Let Dori operate her business! I have been a patron of hers and love what she offers for our dogs. I have gotten dock diving lessons here and have done the lure coursing fun runs which introduced my SAR dog to lure coursing and promoted me to enter her in lure coursing trials. She only needs two more runs to get her first title. If it were not for Dori at Barkby Plungers, we may have never made it at all. She provides a place for dogs to swim fit therapy as well. There are not many such places in the area.

It's wonderful to know your puppies can swim in a safe place. Barkby is an awesome and beautiful place.

I love bringing my dogs to the facility. It's a great and safe outlet for them to burn off energy

Dori has done everything she can to protect her neighbors from her dogs and events and this is her life and career. Dogs will bark and the events are during noise hours. The events are not an everyday event so therefore noise will be heard on days of events. It’s just like living near a farm or race track during operation hours there will be noise. It’s part of living in the country environment. Birds chirp all day long as well are they going to start a argument over the birds in the neighborhood or the crickets or locusts. It’s nature. Don’t shut dori it Barkby plungers down.

Barkby plungers is run very professionally and great care is always taken for the safety of not only the animals but the people around as well, the area is well fenced-in and I know I speak for others when I say it is a wonderful place to be able to bring your dog to exercise them and socialize them with other dogs, it would be a travesty to close this down not to mention my dog would be very sad. Her gatherings are usually on weekends and in the middle of the afternoon.

Our dogs love dock diving at Barkby’s! Please do not impede Barkby’s abilaity to train dogs.
