While I commend our city staff for looking for ways to increase revenue, I do not believe that this cell towers very limited revenue trumps all the potential detrimental impacts it may have. I also believe that in general, cell towers should be located in industrial areas, not neighborhoods. In fact, I can’t think of any highly desirable towns that allow cell towers in a residential neighborhood due to aesthetic reasons alone.
Once again, I greatly appreciate that city staff is actively looking for ways to increase revenue!
