The other question is- what is the city even thinking???? Cell towers in neighborhoods are a very bad and short sighted idea. Keep the signatures rolling in!

Based on the city's own ordinances, this is not a principal use permitted outright in an R-1 zone , nor is it a use that is customarily incidental to a permitted or conditional use in a residential district. Further, the city should be honoring the CC & R's (deed restrictions) that apply to this and other nearby properties as well as to their own ordinances that apply to Cell Towers in Chapter 17.78 that specifically state are "for the purpose of protecting residential zones and and visually sensitive areas from the potential adverse impact" of towers and to "insure that they are compatible with surrounding land uses." This project isn't consistent with any of these. The city should not spend further time and resources pursuing the project when most local residents who are aware of its possibility clearly are vehemently against it in this location anyway.

As a nearby resident, a cell tower is not a good idea in the middle of a residential area. These towers are important but should be placed on ridges outside of town such as Bedoin Mountain!

"Cell companies are entitled to good coverage, not perfect coverage. Sometimes a more suitable and appropriate location may provide slightly less coverage, but nonetheless adequate coverage." If a cell tower is inevitable, it should not be within a residential neighborhood.

This should not be going in a neighborhood. It will hurt the property values and be an eyesore. With so much open space and such coverage already, it's very hard to understand that there could be a need for this.
