I have owned a house in White Salmon for 25 years. This cell tower will be visible from everywhere in my neighborhood and from my house. Who wants a constantly blinking red light and tower on what is now a very beautiful high point in White Salmon, visible from all around in the gorge...I certainly don't. Who wants to live near such a thing, or buy property with a cell tower in the view. This will significantly drop all the property values in White Salmon. I am also a physician, a radiologist, and know the dangers of radiation emitted by such towers. I think it is irresponsible of the City of White Salmon to even consider placement of a structure which would be injurious to the health of the local residents. Cell towers also make a constant noise which will be heard by the residents. If the Cell company can raise the height of the tower without further community or city consent, that will make an even larger number of residents of White Salmon exposed to radiation. Don't ruin our lovely town, which has been improving for the 25 years I have lived here, by allowing this tower. It does not fit current zoning regulation, nor the codes, covenants, and restricitons which were placed upon all the land on top of Strawberry mountain.

We need see an Environmental Impact Study for this proposal before the CCR's and current city zoning regulations are violated.

The proposed cell tower on Strawberry Mountain would appear to be an illegal installation. We hope that the City rejects this proposal and respects existing CC&R's, City zoning, and gorge scenic act provisions.

We are against having a cell tower installed at the top of Strawberry Mtn. There is too
Much development here already. The radio waves and electromagnetic waves are not healthy and the cell tower will effect what wildlife we have left. As well, it will effect our real estate value in a negative way. We strongly encourage you to place it somewhere like Underwood Mtn., or Burdoin where it is less populated!!

The FCC will give US Cellular the power to add to this tower if we give them this lease option. All the rules the city has in place to protect its citizens will be mute and we will lose control of our rules. This is a bad idea!!

The proposed cell tower is utterly inappropriate for that location. The view of White Salmon and the natural skyline from the Hood River Bridge is priceless. Why make the town look like another overdeveloped suburban town. The originators of this petition had 5 strong arguments against the cell tower. Too bad they weakened their position by citing discredited conspiracy theories about harmful cell radiation. Unfortunately many educated people will not sign this petition since they do not want to associated with conspiracy theories that ignore the Inverse Square Law of physics.

Absolutely 100% against the proposed cell tower to be located on Strawberry Mountain. This would be a complete eyesore to the area and goes contrary to the character of the Gorge Scenic Area. Please do not go forward with the proposal.

Please don't add another stress to our overloaded immune systems. Furthermore, you would need to go against zoning regulations. You are elected to serve our greater good. Please support us in denying permission for this tower. Thank you
