We thought we bought a guinea pig but now have a large very skittish animal who is too small for a cage.

Pet stores do not understand the responsiblity of animals they have no idea how to care for them they should not be allowed to SELL any animal animals are living things not property for profit cuys are not pets for the average person they take a lot of work and skill to care for I want to try to rescue cuys some day but I am an experience guinea pig owner not some pet store person trying to care for an animal they don't know anything about this leads to people getting animals they dump off somwhere to be killed because they are irresponsible and ill-prepared to deal with more aggressive or scared pigs like cuys I have had abused pigs let me tell you its not easy but its rewarding cuys can be rewarding as any other put but you have to know what you are doing petco does not stop them from selling these beautiful animals they should be sued for whay they are doing causing innocent loss of life I do not support these pet stores run by money-hungry theives who are simply out for their own benefits and own profits the owners and breeders here are the sickening pigs not hte animals...
