Help Stop Killing Bangladeshi at Borders by Indian Force
Help Stop Killing the Bangladeshi Citizens at borders by India's security forces
Dear Secretary General Ban Ki Moon:
The people of Bangladesh urge you to help stop killing the Bangladeshi citizens at borders by the India border security forces (BSF). It is reported that from 2000 to 2010, 923 Bangladeshi citizens were killed by India's border security forces (BSF) and 70 peoples by the Indian civilians and also 661 peoples were injured by BSF and 335 were injured by the Indian civilians. There must have many unreported killings and injuries as well.
On killing a Bangladeshi girl, Indian border force members carry the death body away in such an inhumane manner.
If a Bangladeshi does any illegal things (eg. crossing border), there are laws to judge them. But the Indian forces take laws at their own hands. The government of Bangladesh has condemned the brutal activities of BSF at the borders but India has kept killing and torturing the Bangladeshi citizens at the borders without any legal justification!
A scene of recent torture to a Bangladeshi by Indian force. The victim was fully clothed off and tied hand & feet and then brutally beaten up by the BSF.
During the celebration of our 40th anniversary of independence in December 2011, few Bangladeshis were killed by India's BSF. During the official trip of an Indian prime minister to Bangladesh, BSF did killing the Bangladeshi citizens at the border. So the people of Bangladesh better understand that brutality of India's BSF to Bangladeshi citizens at the borders is not accidental, rather it is intentional and planned.
You know that the people of Bangladesh are peace-loving but have now lost their patience. So they are raising their voices to protect their fellow countrymen from being killed by India.
The people of Bangladesh benignly request you to stand by them and to initiate actions as per your capacity as Secretary General of the UN to make sure stop the killings completely before the General Assembly of the United Nations to be held in September 2012.
Yours Sincerely,
160 Million Common Citizens of Bangladesh
