I am vehemently opposed to the proposed Verizon Wireless cell tower. This will be a horrible eyesore to our community, and that along with the perceived health risks of cell towers will negatively affect home values. The concerns of the community should trump corporate interests, and this decision should not be made by one person.

It's appalling that one individual is given such power to approve such a project that impacts hundreds of thousands of people. The residents spoke loud and clear that they oppose such a tower. It's critical at this election time to know where our Council Candidates stand on this issue!
