Deforestation is a rapidly growing problem locally and globally. More than 80 percent of the Earth's natural forests already have been destroyed. Experts presume that at this rate in 100 years, there will be no rainforests left!. One of the most dangerous effects of deforestation is habitat loss, as 70 percent of Earth’s land animals live in forests, and most would not survive without their home. There will be increased greenhouse gases because lack of trees do not circulate enough oxygen into the atmosphere.
