You've got to be kidding me Thier testing for college in the third grade. That's just ridiculous. And the common core math, kids are coming home crying because the work is to much for them. Children in elementary schools shouldn't have to wry about college and what college they'll be getting into at that age. What they should be worried about is weather they want to play at the park or who they'll be having play dates with. Not answering questions that will determine what kind of college they'll get into. And the common core math is just insane. You'll never use it during your lifetime yes if your going to into engineering or physics or scientific studies yes not for these other careers. The state is putting to much pressure on these young kids and schools are just giving them crap loads of homework and the test scores what do they do. I'll tell you what they do it only shows how the teacher is doing. The state needs to take away common core math, do away with all these standardized tests and just let kids be kids.
