It's been a tough few days in Spokane. Our people are tired and cold without water and power after hurricane-level winds tore through the city this past week. Hundreds of thousands in the community are affected and hurting.

Spokane desperately needs a break from all the destruction - a place where people can get away and enjoy themselves, and just escape reality.

A swamp, a princess' tower, and the silly town of Duloc is just what we need!

Please consider allowing Ferris High School the opportunity to open their doors and serve Spokane through the magic of theater, by providing benefit matinees of "Shrek the Musical" this weekend.

Spokane needs you. Will you support us?

The show is absolutely incredible. It would be a terrible loss not to be seen any more. I know of many families who have been planning to attend and many from my music school looking forward to attending and were terribly disappointed when it was cancelled. Those same families are now without power and it would be such a lift to them!

We have grandparents, college siblings, step moms, friends, cousins ALL traveling from out of state at great expensive to be here to watch my daughter in Shrek this weekend. Please allow the students to do the musical!! They and their parents have sacrificed way too much for them to not be allowed to perform now. Thanks!

My daughter is in the show and my parents are coming from out of town to see her this weekend. The kids have worked so hard to put this show together and the Spokane community could use a little laughter right now!

Awesome show: saw it last weekend! It's a shame that it's run would be cut short by the windstorm. Some great theatre, great music and lots of laughs are what the Spokane area needs right now! (Plus these kids have worked so hard and created such an awesome production!)

We came from Mintana last weekend to see the performance, it was well worth the trip. Amazing talent. It was very entertaining and uplifting. This production would be just what everyone needs. A bright spot in a rough time for Spokane.

Dr Redinger, let the students serve our struggling city in this way and you will not only be an encouragement to the kids, you will help them learn to think about others ahead of themselves.
