I'm happy to talk with anyone about my experiences with this teacher. I graduated 4th in my class in 2013, and Cindy Anderson loved me, a white girl, but her racism and homophobia have always been evident, and I regret not speaking out sooner. The way she treats students who aren't straight, Christian, and white, especially black students, is unacceptable and goes against everything the Wylie Way stands for.

racism should not be tolerated in a school that advocates for inclusivity and kindness with their wylie way curriculum.

Yes I have my whole government name on here. Cindy is a very problematic woman who should NOT teach the future generations of wylie high students. She favors kids who are white and ignores poc. Her likes on twitter should tell you enough. She did not get hacked-- she liked all those tweets with her chest.

I cringe & feel anxiety take over just thinking about my daughter or son having her as a teacher.

She was continuously making racial remarks and praising people because of the color of their skin in my class. Someone that should not be a teacher for sure!

I was a student of Cindy and she was openly hateful and sexist. I never felt comfortable in her classroom and she needs fired immediately.

Her tweets prove the accusations. There's months of evidence, this isn't a recent event.

What a shame for the school district.

Teaching should be free of discrimination, and students should feel safe in their classroom, not intimidated by racist teachers or the molesting eyes from teachers.

It's completely inappropriate for someone who holds these biased views to be teaching (and grading) young, impressionable minds. We need teachers who value and love all of their students EQUALLY. This is just another way students of color are disadvantaged. It starts in the classroom.
