This tree is not only gorgeous when lit in the quiet little town of West Liberty, but it's one of my favorite memories from my childhood. I loved seeing it lit up every year! Please don't cut it down!!

Don't cut down the tree! It's tradition, history, and memories.

This has been an icon of Christmas in West Liberty for all my life. some want it cut down to help restoration of town hall, but town hall wouldn't be the same without that tree. What would happen after the parade? What do we light up? The boring bathroom lights of town hall?

We do NOT need another tree to be killed. Especially a beautiful iconic one. A couple of restrooms are not that important

No need to cut the tree down, better signage & directions for the restroom would be a cheaper & less permanent option.

I've only been in this town 13 mos and I seen it lit up and thought it was awesome compared to the concrete jungle of Detroit where I'm from...to cut it down for firewood would be an insult to this town!!!!! Call the arborist and auto an societies and see what they think...peace out!

Even though I have only been in this town 13 months I seen it lit up last year and if they cut it down that's a discrace!!! How about calling the arrborist society or the auto an society...im pretty sure they'll help save it

It's a beautiful tree. Leave it stand.

I get that public restrooms are important and all but can't you just put up a few more signs rather than chop down a tree?
