TREC has always been representative of the community which it so generously serves and promotes. Few organisations have the ability, insight or passion to respond decisively and effectively to the concerns and needs of the people of the city of Leicester who would otherwise remain unseen and unheard. Any threat to the work and future of TREC is a threat to equality of provision for all Leicester residents.

Trec is amazing and helps loads of vulnerable people in distress and difficulty. Why would the council want to change its funding to exclude people from accessing it?

TREC is a vital resource for Leicester's communities. Utterly shameful that their future should be in doubt.

Utterly shocked that TRECs future could be in doubt. This is an organisation that really does make a difference.

In multi-cultural Leicester I would have thought the Race Equality Centre was much needed. It has helped so many people in the past.

This centre has provided a vital service to the people of Leicester City. The City Council should acknowledge the considerable work it takes to sustain a project that seeks to address social injustices

TREC's work is valuable and important. recent projects such as Enterprising New Arrivals have been ground breaking. It is critical that TREC's core funding remains in tact.

Leicester Labour council, attacking the vulnerable. Save jobs and services. Stand up for the Race Equality Centre, as it has stood up for countless others.
The Leicester Racial Equality Council have worked very hard for many years to support the ordinary people who were vanuarable due to the unseen circumstances. The public money have been used for the public to create a healthy, happy and progressive community in the Leicester/shire. I request the funding authority to help the Trek to carry on with these public services which are treating everyone equally.
