I was a student in the Greenhouse Program from AU16-AU17, and plan on returning to finish that degree. As a student who has had the opportunity to work in the Greenhouses and Conservatory, I very strongly believe that the structure needs to preserved. Not only is it a local and historical piece that adds to the visual aesthetic of our ATI campus, it is a learning tool. It provides a beautiful contrast to the new greenhouses that were just recently built, providing a real life picture of why we build greenhouses the way that we do today. The conservatory allows students to be a part of the legacy that the conservatory has, and instills an appreciation for history, which I find to be a dying quality in the fast paced society we live in. The conservatory allows us to observe and study exotic plants in Plant ID, it gives us a place to learn how to grow these plants, and instills a passion for growing and learning how to be productive in that niche in our green industry. Which we may not otherwise learn. I hope you will please consider all of these thoughts. Thank you for your time. Hannah Crouch Weaver

It's part of history and is important in conserving rare or endangered species of plants. It was a part of my childhood
