I thought New Zealand was clean and green..I am shocked to think that such dangerous chemicals are used. Doesn't nature struggle enough . Does it really need to be poisoned as well. Rooks are beautiful and very intelligent birds.

We are barbarians for poisoning the rook. It is a wonderful species that helps the farmers with grassgrubs and other pastoral insects during the warm months- it's time farmers learned to share with Nature- especially during Winter when food is scarce. Rooks are a part of our heritage- they've been here every bit as long as Europeans- do we poison the people like this? NZ has to stop poisoning everything- we're a horrible nation.

This inhumanely culling of the rook has to end now. I want to do everything to save the rook from further poisoning by department conservation. I can't sleep at night thinking about this its ruining my life .
