This river is a just a vein of a much larger network we must protect. Let's think about more than ourselves please

I believe removing the dam would be a horrible mistake...one that can't be corrected....

This would be an ecological disaster of mammoth proportions that no amount of money could repair, and would not in any way prohibit someone from drowning.

Unless you have completed EXTENSIVE research on how removing the dam could/will affect waterways downstream, you shouldn't be doing anything.

Please do not remove the damn. Think of the ecological changes this will cause to the river and the surrounding areas. Please reconsider your actions!

What about the wild life and fish? I have lived on the river all my life. There is more activity on the river now. Someone is boating or fishing.

This is crazy. What is Lexington going to do for water?

The dam doesn't force anyone to get in. You enter at your own risk the same as you drive a car at your own risk

Leave it alone! People need to learn to be more careful ! There are obvious signs saying danger and you can hear the dam! Don't swim near it . You have the whole river it's called common sense .
