Help save the London plane trees of Exeter

We need more trees not less!

they where vandalssome things never change when they first built the place,

Any green space that is available

Leave the trees alone and develop around them. Just use some vision?

Trees are an important feature of the city and need to be protected.

This is not the time to cut back nature! Keep or move the trees!

Save the trees and build for families not just students! It seems the council is selling out to the university and not interested in council tax paying residents!

There are alternatives to having to fell these valuable trees and I would be happy to help to try and find a way in ensuring these trees can be retained..

I love plane trees- please don't chop them down.

Please we need MORE trees in Exeter and not fewer. We already have a steel concrete high street. Leafy Exeter is the way to go

I have no preference, although I do think the trees should be saved. It takes so long for these wonderful trees to grow.

We must save our trees. What's happening to our lovely wooded roundabout at Sandy Gate?

These beautiful Lime trees help give this part of Exeter soul in an otherwise retail jungle.

Preferably not moved anywhere but incorporated into the architecture. It was so shameful that the tree that once stood so gracefully between the junction of Bedford street and the High Street was hacked down leaving a dull space with no life in it, perhaps put one where it stood if you have to move it from Paris Street.

while there is a current programme to 'green' grey britain it seems such a shame that Exeter is becoming more and more granite grey -- see Queens Street, Guildhall Centre and Princesshay to name just a few.

The trees should be returned to their original positions after the construction work is finished

The trees should form part of the new development and be made a feature. We need mature trees to help filter out pollutants.
