What will be left of New Orleans if they kill everything THAT IS New Orleans? Just wondering...I'm from Sweden and have been to Nola four times since 2013. I love your city. Every time I get home I'm already longing to come back and I feel so sad about how stupid politicians treat the people who are the back bone of this town!

I live just down the block and have lived there since 2001. I've neve had a problem with Little People's. In fact, it think they make the neighborhood safer because people are out and about.

Please help save this wholesome neighborhood community center. I go for fish fries during lent and everyone there is so sweet and welcoming. This neighborhood needs this place as an anchor for the older folks who are still around and feeling out numbered. We as a city need to start being more respectful and considerate to the older people in our community who are fearful of being displaced. Plz help them. Thx

This is a treasured place for the Treme community, and always welcoming to all. The city should be helping it, not helping to shutter it.

When I lived in Treme, this bar was one of my favorite places to go to meet my neighbors, hear what was going on around me, check in on different parts of the music scene in New Orleans, and often make connections that have stayed with me for years...including books that I still teach from at the University of New Orleans and in the Neighborhood Story Project..it has been an important stop on parade routes and serves delicious Friday fish fries. I still go there to reconnect with a wonderful group of people and it would be a huge loss to the roots of this neighborhood if it were closed.
