FSH Cougars program has been instrumental to my sons' and daughter's education in team work and leadership. I also appreciated that I did not have to drive far for my kids to participate. If FSH football and cheer programs go away it will hinder my children from playing team sports with children on post, as there are no guarantees off post that they would get the same capabilities for an affordable rate to military families.

One of the only programs in San Antonio that does youth football the correct. Please don't subject those kids to Friday night Tykes. They have coaches and leaders that live Fort Sam and those kids. It was a foundation for me and my son's relationship. It gave I us a common love for the game teammates and a respect for those who serve.

FSH Cougars football and cheer has been our family for 5 years now. We look forward to football starting every year. I know for my child it has been something he knows that is going to be a constant thing come every July for football season to start. With our family as well as many other families that play or coach for Fort Sam Houston Cougars its hard for us to have that constant feeling in our lives because when duty calls it effects our whole family especially are children. By taking this program away you are taking that constant outlet for our children. FSH Cougars football and cheer is not just about playing the sport or cheering, this program has giving kids confidence, support, respect, how to be a team player, and has educated them in how to be safe, stronger, and learn the game that they love. These coaches and team moms and other volunteers are always looking out for our children no matter what, FSH Cougars football and cheer for the military is the most understanding organization in the NAJIFF league that knows the struggle of being a military family and trying to adjust to a new duty station and trying to keep the family going no matter if our soldiers, airmen, sailors, or the Marines are deployed, TDY, or running late because we all know they are on military time. We all work to make sure players and cheerleaders make it to practice, games, and competitions even if that means we have to pick them up from school, SAS, or home to make sure they can be there. I feel FSH Cougars is well rounded when it comes to making things work with the hard work of the coaches, team moms, and the players/cheerleader because every year we never know who coming back due to people pcsing, and FSH Cougars football and cheer welcome each and everyone with open arms, and makes them apart of the family for years to come.

Well I would like to start off by saying that this is not a movement it is a cause to stand up for the youth that have participated past future and present in the Fort Sam Houston organization. As for the rebuttal on injuries reported it was a general list that was created with sports injuries on the installation, how can you as I dare not use your name as, it has should not be anywhere near children if you choose to use a name as such. However, how can you pin point injuries not reported to staff to be football primarily.
On your second statement all of the coaches were heads up certified and this was taught to the children daily, and parents were aware of this as well. In any event that parents took children to the hospital and did not let any of the staff known then they cannot be judged upon unknown information.
I have been with the organization for several years now and not now or ever have I ever seen any coach put their own self interest in the place of those children. Can you honestly say that? These coaches are volunteers only if they were out to obtain their own satisfaction so we honestly think that they would spend the countless hours of time and dedication in the heat away from family and leisure activities? I highly assume not. Seems to me from this post that this seems to be an inside vendetta that someone has against someone personally. The more information that you share it sheds light into the foundation of the taking away of the program.
Your point in your fourth post is just ludicrous if you know how the Allstars voting works. It seems that you may be upset or hurt because of the way that the voting process works. However, it is not our coaches or staff place to place kids in a position that they will be voted for allstar. Often years I seen where coaches go I with only 4 selections that all of the coaches of the league have to vote on not just the FSH coaches and leave with having 11 children being sent to allstar. Now you tell me
