Dakota County needs to leave this family and their property alone!! We have enough MN State/Dakota County owned property to maintain with the tax dollar; The State and County need to look at ways to cut their spending, not increase it by taking away from private owned property. Spring Lake Park in Hasting Mn is one of my favorite places on this earth, I volunteer at St. Anthony Falls cleaning the park and planting. I do not think I could enjoy or participate at these parks knowing that the County bullied their way onto the property. Pleae find a better way.

Dakota County, you have no business here! First, you expect property tax payment for all of the time they own this land and now you want to STEAL it from them? Yes, it's stealing. plain and simple.

The private property order is a fundamental principle which had its start at the Protestant Reformation. Then, the papacy was overthrown by Martin Luther's born again Christians who rose up, liberated in Jesus Christ - their "true head!" The feudal system preceded it - when there was almost no technilogical advancement and no one owned much of anything for 1300 years. The pope was in charge of it all.
This land snatch is just one example of what's happening all over the country, at the county, state and federal levels. If this fundamental principle of OWNERSHIP is confiscated by our government, we are ALL at risk of losing everything. If eminent domain says that Martin Luther's "protest" was all in vain, can "popery" be far behind?
