The state can only claim property when there is a legitimate interest in the public welfare. This is not one of those.

This is just so wrong. Everone should be aware the government can just come take your land if they want it. This same thing could happen to YOUR home.

I beleive the rules that allowed GOvernment to do this was set forth for other reasons than a public park.

There is NO GOOD reason to condemn this land, Shame on the county I was born and raised in.

I love bike trails, but the government shouldn't be harassing property owners like this especially if they are actually working with them to find a workable solution for all. Good luck!

what good is ownership if in reality you dont truly own it....what would be the point to buying land, a house or even a car if someone can just come and take it from you because they want it? this is not the american way! we work hard for what is OURS and it should stay OURS until we deem otherwise.

Hey Dakota County, How bout for the public good you focus on what you have vs what you want. This is not about access nor does it facillitate development or job growth.

didn't know that I fight for the land of the free because of the brave and my friend and her family can't keep there land because a county thinks its more important to build a trail and a public water access point.

This was important to a friend of mine. I'll help her anyday!
