This is a terrible thought closing the track. I know my son loves riding and BMX tracks give him an opportunity to do so in a safe environment while learning cooperation.

My son Paul Bailey learned to ride BMX on this track. A lot of unselfish people volunteered on this track. Keep it open for the kids.

The first BMX race I ever did here was in the 80's, I returned 27 years later to ride the track and it was just as fun! BMX does so much not only for the riders but for the community! Please work to find a new home for the track, it's part of Simi's history!!!

I have raced BMX for 18 years. It’s all I know. The friendships that have been made, the family’s that have come together. Your not only taking away a BMX track, your taking away memories and livelihoods of the riders. You may think closing the track isn’t a big deal and won’t do anything but I’m reality people are losing there stress reliever, there out in this world. Racing bmx has kept me out of trouble. While friends in high school were drinking and partying, I was racing my bike. Although I’ve never raced at sycamore I know tons of people who do. Keep the track open. Keep BMX alive. Do it for the kids!

Thanks to Joan and Tony, and Sycamore BMX, I had a fantastic youth. Our team, Sunland cycle and fitness one of the roof championships including the 1999 ABA grand national championship bike shop team with Mike Day aboard. I champion all of my personal successes to this including mountain bike championships, even my success as a mechanical engineer for NASA. Sycamore BMX is a huge contributor and benefit to the Simi Valley community but also youth from all around Southern California.

We need to relocatate the BMX track. Great activity for our youth. I would also like to see a pump track added. We have a great High School and Middle School Mountain Bike Team and many wonderful trails. Please make Simi a bike friendly community for all ages.

We do NOT need any more apartments in Simi but we do need somewhere that our kids can go.
I miss the Sycamore BMX track.
