Help save our Locals Beach in Guerneville, CA!

This small local beach needs to remain accessible to both the local community and visitors to bring economic benefits, well being benefits, and preserve the long standing tradition of public access to the river. It is imperative that this parcel remains open to the public for our future

This small parcel should remain public access to the beach as it has been for so many years rather than the sole benefit of one person!

Grew up in the area.

So many happy summers spent on Vacation Beach with my parents, sister and Grandma. Lovely memories that have stayed with me for over five decades. It would be great if others had the same opportunity!

Please save access to this beach

For the past 57 years since the year of my birth I have been visiting this beach. Three generations of my family have valued it. I learned to swim there, as did my children. It is a precious resource for the public and should be preserved instead of taken away.

My parents ( now deceased) have used this beach since 1948. They first took me there at 1/2 year old in 1951. We spent many summers at Vacation Beach. I still visit this wonderful beach. Please save it !

My family has been enjoying vacation beach for generations. I have photos of myself as a child in 1963 at vacation beach. Vacation beach is where I learned to swim and where I taught my children to swim. Please preserve public access. The O’Flynn should be ashamed of themselves.

Have been going there for over 60 years and wish to continue! Please save it!

My family has enjoyed this beach for the past 3 generations. Please support the plan for Rec&Park to purchase/manage this parcel for perpetuity.

Please save our Beach. It has been a safe haven for countless wonderful memories of parents and children. We would like it to continue to inspire and nurture future generations. Please allow it to continue to be that magical and spiritual place that we carry within us for the rest of our lives.

This beach, and the access to it, needs to be purchased/managed by Rec & Park in order for us to continue visiting this shimmering gem. Newly planted neighbors need to honor the past of this place, not attempt to control that which is not theirs. This has been a community beach before I was even born and I have passed the joy of being there to the next generation. This makes 3 generations of public access. Thank you to those who support the path that clearly benefits the Russian River community of locals as well as visitors. Let us all continue to be able to value and cherish this magical beach by supporting Park & Rec and the plan to purchase/manage these parcels.

Please save our beaches to be enjoyed by local children.

Read, Google, Navigable River laws. Without an act of congress no one has the right to deny access to public lands. I don't care who you are.

I remember for at least 40 years an access to this beach. This county acquisition would be an asset for the county and residents.

Local beach needs to stay local!

My family and I love and have enjoyed this beach for many many years, please help us keep our beach’s open to all people not just the elite and or the wealthy. We all have a right to enjoy the natural beauty this river owns.
