Our local fishing economy has great potential if it has the support and facilities it needs to thrive. We must find a way to make it easier for more people to benefit from a more local fishing economy. We must find ways for fishermen to reduce the barriers and challenges they face. All of us benefit from a local thriving fishing economy.

This harbour was built for fishing and it should remain as such.

Harbour will have lost it's identity in a couple of years, it was never built to be a marina, it is and should remain first and foremost a working vibrant part of the community, some people really need to rethink their strategies and priorities, for the good of everyone within the community..
