Hello Harvest fans.

The town of Oro valley is holding a hearing to approve a proposal for a fast food drive-thru restaurant in the empty dirt lot directly in front of Harvest's & Cafe Torino's patios. This would block the cherished mountain views, sunsets & moon rise views from our patios which, is a popular spot in our restaurant for diners. In addition to the noise associated with fast food drive-thru, there is also the smell of exhaust associated with the cars in line as well as from the kitchen vents. There was a plan to build a hotel & apartment complex in Oro Valley Marketplace, & people protested it because it blocked views and they succeeded in preventing the build. The project was cancelled. We, along with Cafe Torino are going to contest this project, hoping we will get the same results.
Please join us this Wednesday, June 8th from 6-8 pm at the Oro Valley Town hall. Let your voice be heard and help us continue to serve our community. We narrowly survived the pandemic, which many independents did not, but this project would make it next to impossible to remain in business.
