We live across from The Island and enjoy seeing the Wildlife. Deer, Fox, Beaver and even a Bald Eagle! It’s a beautiful Island and it’s in Burlington!!!!!!

I would like for this effort be repeated in other places in New Jersey like some areas in the Pine Barrens. I did not know that there were Native American burial sites in it. This conservation efforts should be sponsored by public and private institutions and they should extend to archaeological studies.

This island is a pearl in the Delaware River and should be protected by the states of NJ and PA!
