This would be a tragedy for the downtown. It would be so wonderful to fix this little gem and bring it up to the standards of its neighbor, rather than tear it down...You will NEVER build anything that will be site appropriate and it will degrade Bank Street immeasurably.

a historic waterfront is a valuable tourist draw, among other virtues. Preserve this building. I am planning on visiting, but if there are demolitions, I will spend my tourist dollars elsewhere.

This building is a significant part of the Bank St streetscape in a city that has seen more than its fair share of the wrecking ball. No modern building compares to the craftsmanship and materials that went into these old ones. Please do not demolish 130 Bank St. Creative reuse is the best way forward.

Please preserve New London's history. Once these old, fantastically beautiful buildings are gone you can't get them back!

Having grown up in Waterford and remembering New London from the late 50 and 60's before many other historic building and areas were torn down, I would hate to see more old buildings also go. New London would be better off to look at other historic waterfront cities that have saved their building and encouraged renovation of them, Like Portland Maine.
