Lots of elderly local people use this store and access it on their mobility scooters. Other super markets are too far away. Area is already bad for unemployment don't add to the figures!!!

It is absolutely disgusting that local people will have to travel long distances for a food shop and also the 100+ jobs that will be lost is extremely disappointing

Your store replaced small businesses like fishmongers, butchers etc. It brought jobs and got people used to having everything under one roof - accessible and convenient. If you now close it the town will be left without these facilities. What you gave with one hand will now be taken away with the other Prove that you really did have the towns interest at heart n save this store

The staff are great and very pleasant. We need Morrisons to stay in Tyldesley and keep our community together with a choice of shopping locally.

This is a store that the community of Tyldesley and near by communities use a lot, it will be a devastating blow to loose it. Morrisons pulls in customers out side of Tyldesley which brings in extra custom for the local town, if it was to go there would be a big knock on effect to the local economy. Morrisons is the only place in Tyldesley were we can get fresh produce which with out would be a big loss for the local people who use Morrisons. You don't realise how valuable a store like Morrisons is until the threat of closure and it is vital to Tyldesley. Please don't shut it down. Many thanks Matthew James

Without Morrisons, Tyldesley will be left without a butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. Aldi doen't sell named brands. Over 100 local people work in Morrisons a store that is always busy and employs so many is odviously needed. I receive regular £5 match and more vouchers, they say what the are the match the price of other stores. I personally know many of the staff and made friends over the past years with many others. The store has extended it's opening times again there must be a need you call in at 7.50am in a morning it's full of high school children stocking up for the day. Most of the primary schools within the area Tyldesley and Astley have accounts there. I'm never first at an empty checkout as there is always someone infront of us and always at least 3 checkouts open plus the lottery/tobacco kiosk. Tyldesley needs this store. On another note the dreaded busway is coming and according to the supporters is going to create extra footfall into Tyldesley who will probably need provisions from Morrisons... think I've just found my first positive to the busway.
